Breathe comfortable, humidified air in your home with the General Aire Model 4400A Fan-Powered Evaporative Humidifier. With maximum humidity output, it fights back against dry air thanks to its efficient, fan-powered capabilities and automatic digital controls humidistat. This evaporative humidifier is capable of covering up to 4,400 square feet.
Note: This humidifier must be installed by a licensed contractor.
Digital Control Humidistat
The GFX4 Automatic Digital Humidistat is included with the General Aire 4400A and is packed with convenient features:
- LCD screen: This easy-to-read screen allows for quick adjustments and accurately displays humidity levels.
- Flexible Installation: You can install the humidistat on your wall or directly on your duct, as it controls the furnace blower motor to maintain humidity levels.
- Automatic Controls: An outdoor sensor is included for automatic controls, but you can control them manually without the outdoor sensor installed.
- Extended Humidity Range: With complete accuracy, this humidistat gives an extended humidity range from 10 to 75 percent.
Fan-Assisted Humidifier
While most evaporative humidifiers operate with bypass technology—meaning the humidifier relies only on the furnace blowing the air through the ductwork and into the humidifier—this General Aire fan-powered humidifier includes a quiet, cross-flow fan.
You get more for your dollar with a fan-powered humidifier, as the fan pushes air through faster and more efficiently, saving you money and providing up to 19 gallons of moisture per day.
