As Consumer Reports said, the suction strength is A+. However, I don't like having to step on the on-off switch since it throws me off balance. Any emergency shut-off is delayed by having to walk back to the canister to step up onto the off switch. The floor attachment is a tiny toy with minimal brushes--So glad I kept my old Kenmore floor attachment to use with the new vacuum cleaner. Why reject an ergonomic switch design just to have a ""new"" feature? Why make a mini floor attachment that is useless?
