Description
King Electric's PKB-FM portable unit heater is specially designed for the extreme workload of job sites or industrial facilities. It is best used in areas where dry electric heat is preferred to propane or kerosene space heaters to operate dry-out applications. Since these heaters work by electric technology, they do not generate odor, flame or carbon monoxide. These are the perfect fit for temporary large-capacity heating applications since they feature high CFM and low-temperature rise. Features like spiral finned steel elements and high CFM allow for uniform air distribution producing cooler element operation which can enhance its life for ages.
This heater is available in three models to choose from: A 208-volt option (PKB2010-1-T-FM), a 240/208-volt option (PKB2410-1-T-FM), and a 3-phase, 480-volt option (PKB4810-3-T-FM).
Built-In Thermostat
KB Platinum is the best in its class. This fantastic heater comes with an in-built electronic thermostat for better control and remote for convenient operation, as well as an integrated summer fan-only mode and thermostat timer mode, the KB Platinum is the best and most recommended heater.

Additional Features
- Construction: 20 gauge electro-galvanized Steel with rust-inhibiting baked enamel finish is specially used to make all the heater parts, be it external or internal. Smooth rounded corners and protective edge trim make it look sleek and elegant.
- Electronic Control: The controls include Up, down temperature mode and Start/Stop.
- Adjustable Outlet Louver: Louvers direct air up or down as required for the heating application.
- Rear Intake Screen: To prevent accidental contact with the rotating fan blade, there is a heavy gauge steel screen present on the heater.
- Spiral Fin Elements: To provide efficient heat transfer, the metal sheath element is copper brazed with spiral fins shaped into a coil configuration.
- Enclosed Fan Motor: For durability and hassle-free operation, the heater consists of an epoxy coated motor with an enclosed rotor that is permanently lubricated with 20cc oil for lifelong effortless operation.
- Aluminum Fan Blade: Axial flow-type fan placed strategically on top of the motor shaft provides unmatched efficiency.
- Thermal Overload: Heaters are provided with King's patented thermal overload Smart Limit Protection, which protects your device by disconnecting the elements and motor in case the normal operating temperatures are exceeded. In case of thermal overload tripping due to abnormal operating temperatures, thermal overload stays open until manually reset by switching off the heater for 15 minutes.
