ROSWELL, GA Jan. 11 2018 -- Sylvane, Inc., announced that Meg Hellerstedt has been named President of the company. As President, she will be responsible for all of the company’s operations.
Hellerstedt is a 12-year veteran of Sylvane and has led the merchandising department since 2009. She graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. degree in Business Management.
As Vice President of Merchandising, she has played a pivotal role in growing the product offerings for both e-commerce websites under the Sylvane, Inc., umbrella.
“I’m proud and honored to take over as President of Sylvane. We have grown tremendously since I joined the team in 2006, and I look forward to delivering on our goals and vision.” Hellerstedt said.
While she oversaw the entire product buying process for all product categories, she personally managed the company’s dehumidifier, humidifier and evaporative cooler product line-ups in recent years.
“When I first joined Sylvane, there were only five employees, and now we have nearly 40. I’ve seen the company grow and change significantly over the years. I look forward to working closer with new departments and learning different sides of our business.” Hellerstedt added.
Sylvane was founded in 2000, and Sylvane.com is a top provider of indoor air quality products and solutions. In 2017, the company expanded to include Quenchessentials.com, an e-commerce website dedicated to beverage appliances and tools.
Hellerstedt will oversee all business for both websites.
