Deliver efficient cooling in small single rooms with the Amana AMAP061CW Window Air Conditioner. This unit and its 12.2 EER works best in rooms 250 square feet or less. Simple to operate, it features both onboard and remote controls, and has multiple operating modes for increased comfort. With included installation materials, it’s designed for quick set up.
Efficient Single Room Cooling
Efficiently cool rooms up to 250 square feet with this Amana window air conditioner, its 12.2 Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER), and energy saving features.
- ECO Mode: Saves energy by turning the compressor off when your room reaches your set temperature, only turning it back on when the room’s temperature rises.
- Programmable Timer: Set the unit to turn off automatically up to 24 hours ahead of time.
Individualized Comfort
Whether using the on-board electronic control panel or the included remote control dialing in on your specific comfort level is easy.
- Cool Mode: Uses 6,000 BTUs of cooling power to to deliver fast comfort.
- Dry Mode: Reduce your indoor humidity by removing up to 1.58 pints of moisture from the air every hour.
- Fan Only: Circulate fresh air with this mode. There’s 3 fan speeds (low, medium, high) to choose from.
- Auto Mode: The unit will automatically choose the best operating mode and fan speed to achieve your set temperature.
Fast Window Installation
The materials you’ll need for installation are included with the unit. It’s designed to fit windows 23-36 inches wide with a minimum opening of 14 ½ inches.

I have a 480 sq. Ft. Guest cabin with a Bedroom, kitchen, and Bathroom the window unit is in Bedroom and the air has to travel through Bedroom, through Bedroom door, through kitchen, and through Bathroom door to cool Bathroom and the whole place stays cool even in July with heat and humidity! The ECO function works fabulous, when the fan runs every 10minutes for 10 seconds between cooling to sense actual air temperatures before getting to hot inside to tell the unit to turn Back on works Better than I ever expected! Could not Be happier with purchase! AMANA window air conditioners rule! Nothing Better!

I had bought this product for my Siberien Husky dog 'Kaya'. While I am working, I want her to be comfortable during the hot weather. Not only has the Amana A/C been working perfectly, it has also been relatively quiet when in use.The Economy mode is used frequently which adds to efficiency. This is a a great product and I would purchase it again if needed another one.
