The Wi-Fi UI Upgrade Kit retrofits your existing Aprilaire E050 dehumidifier with wireless control. An appliance you normally set once and forget becomes one you can monitor from anywhere. Pairing runs over Bluetooth in about 3 minutes through a 4-stage setup, after which the Aprilaire Healthy Air App provides alerts, real-time humidity monitoring, and plain-language diagnostics that describe issues in plain words rather than fault codes. The upgraded digital interface on the dehumidifier stays fully usable if you would rather adjust settings by hand.
Installation calls for 4 screws through the included plastic backplate, and the T20 and T15 Torx bits you need come in the kit. Firmware updates arrive through the app, so your dehumidifier keeps current without a service call. Part number 70000250.
