Description
The Arizona Air KoolKube 5300 CFM Evaporative Cooler provides welcome relief for those hot, scorching days. Effective for spaces up to 1,600 square feet, this sturdy air cooler can take on a variety of commercial spaces from large barns & stables to warehouses, docks, and more.
This large air cooler features simple dial controls and locking casters for easy transport, set-up, and operation. It also gives you the option of filling the 14.3-gallon water tank, or using a hose connection for continuous fill.
Easy Set-Up & Operation
The Arizona Air Evaporative Cooler features an easy-access front fill door which can accommodate either a hose or a bucket for filling. When finished filling the cooler, the door can be locked.
For continuous operation, attach the included hose adapter to the float valve nipple on the cooler. Connect a standard garden hose and you’re ready to go.
The control panel has 4 simple-to-use dials:
- Left rotary switch turns the unit on or off.
- Middle rotary switch controls the water pump, turning it on or off.
- Small right rotary switch controls the swing oscillating louver.
- Large rotary dial controls the three fan speeds: Low, Medium, or High
Evaporative Cooler Technology
Unlike air conditioners which use a compressor, evaporative coolers use water-soaked rigid media pads plus a powerful fan to create cooling airflow. This makes them the ideal choice for dry, hot climates such as the Southwest US.
Also called swamp coolers, these efficient machines add humidity to the air, as well as providing high CFM airflow. For this reason, they do require a fresh air source like an open window or door during operation.
Fan Only & Oscillation Features
When you only need simple air circulation, you can operate the KoolKube without running the water pump. Create up to 5,300 CFM of airflow to enjoy fresh air indoors our outside. This option is great for more humid conditions when working in your garage, workshop, or enjoying time on a patio or deck.
For more even cool air distribution, use the automatic oscillation dial to turn on the swing function for the vertical louvers.
Easy Maintenance
The Arizona Air KoolKube Evaporative Cooler doesn’t have complicated maintenance requirements. When finished using at the end of the day, run the fan only for 30 minutes to dry out the media pads—this keeps down mildew growth. If there is water in the tank, remove the drain cap to drain out remaining water. Media pads can be inspected and cleaned of calcium deposits if necessary.

- Auto Pump Shut-Off: Should your air cooler run out of water during operation, the water pump will automatically shut off and the unit will run on fan-only.
- Long Run Time: The KoolKube 5,300 CFM evaporative cooler can run for up to 4 hours on high fan with a full tank of water.
- Continuous Operation: Using a garden hose, this unit can produce cool air continuously. Includes hose adapter.
- 4 Smooth-Rolling Casters: This makes the KoolKube easy to maneuver or move to storage at the end of the season. Two of the casters are locking for added stability during use.

I am restoring an old car in an uninsulated garage in Phoenix and bought the KoolKube to be able to work through the summer. While it does not cool the entire 3-car garage, it does an effective job of cooling when I work in a given space within the air stream. My garage temp reaches over a hundred degrees and the unit blows air cooled to about 85. I'm a happy guy.

The evaporative cooler worked Ok. The circulating system sometimes takes a while to wet the pads completely. Overall, as far as the cooling unit itself, I think it's not the greatest but it does help get my employees get by especially during the heat wave. I would've given it a 4. The sad part about it was it came with only 3 casters. I asked for a replacement caster and had to send in model, serial number, order and invoice number and many other questions were asked. I understood all the required details and after all that was submitted, until now, September 26, I still have not gotten the replacement. I was moving my KoolKube around in a cart until I finally found a good location for it. It is now sitting on top of 2 plastic milk crates. I think it's just fair for me to take 1 star off my review just for poor quality control and customer service behind the deserving 4 star product.
