Description
The Broan Overture Smart Air Quality Monitor Room Sensor detects five indoor air quality factors and works with the Broan wall control and smart plug to automatically operate your home’s fresh air system when needed.
This system is managed by an app on your mobile device so that nothing could be easier. The air quality monitor room sensor works with the Broan Overture smart plug and the Broan Smart wall control for a complete automatic indoor air quality system.

Monitor for Allergen Control
Just the activities of daily life can negatively impact indoor air quality, causing respiratory issues as well as irritated asthma and allergy symptoms. The Broan smart air quality monitor room sensor continuously tracks temperature, humidity, TVOC’s, PM2.5, and CO2 levels, sending information to your smart device via the app. View sensor threshold levels here.
When used in conjunction with the Broan Overture Smart Plug, your home’s fresh air ventilation system will be automatically activated to operate until air quality is returned to a healthy level.
Fast, Easy Installation
The Broan Overture smart air quality monitor room sensor is a simple as plugging it into a standard 120-volt NEMA 5-15R or NEMA 5-20R outlet. Just take into consideration these location guidelines and be sure your place it within range of your Wi-Fi router or access point (about 100 feet).
- Orient the Room Sensor by noting the “Top” direction on the label.
- Don’t place the sensor directly above a heater or near drafts or AC vents.
- Make sure it has adequate airflow around it—not behind furniture.
- For bathrooms, place it close to main source of humidity such as the shower, tub, or sink, and at sink-height or higher for best monitoring.
Simple App Download & Access
The Broan Overture AQ Monitor room sensor includes a QR code on the instructions which can be scanned to download the App. Or you can go to the App store or Google play to download. Now you can see a live report of your home’s indoor air quality as a whole-home view or room-by-room snapshots.
- Individual gauges for overall IAQ, humidity, PM2.5, TVOC’s, and carbon dioxide levels provide live data
- View a quick explanation of each component being measured
- Control individual device features on the room sensor’s smart outlet
- Add new users, rooms, and devices
- Access historical data for the past hour, day, week, month, or year and view whole home, or individual room information for each component in graphic format

This air quality sensor is so easy to use and install. I'm always concerned about the quality of my air and this plug makes it easy to make sure I'm properly ventilating my home. It works great with the Broan ventilation fan I already have and the app is so simple to use!
