The Danby DPAC12012P Portable Air Conditioner uses 12,000 BTUs of power to cool spaces as large as 400 square feet. This versatile, single-hose model provides supplemental cooling to your room, office, or basement. With 3 operating modes, 3 fan speeds, and 2 draining options, you can run this AC exactly how you want. Casters and simple installation make moving the unit hassle-free.
Continuous Drainage
Since the Danby Premiere DPAC12012P removes excess moisture from your air, condensation builds up inside the unit and needs to be drained. This model saves you from having to empty the tank, because it includes a drain hose for continuous draining. The hose connects to the drain and naturally guides the water to another location.
If you don’t use the drain hose, the tank will eventually fill with water and need to be emptied. Luckily, an auto shut-off feature notifies you when the tank is full and automatically turns off the AC, avoiding any damage that may be caused by the tank overflowing.
Multiple Modes
With the ability to cool, dehumidify, or act as a fan, the Danby 12000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner provides continuous room comfort. The 3 operating modes include:
- Cool: 12,000 BTUs of power cool spaces up to 400 square feet.
- Dry: Use this mode to remove up to 54 pints of moisture from your air per day.
- Fan: Avoid room stuffiness by circulating the air with 3 fan speeds—low, medium, and high.

- Auto-Timer: Set your AC to turn on in any mode up to 24 hours in advance. The timer also lets you schedule your AC to turn off at any time up to 24 hours in advance.
- Electronic Controls: Soft-touch electronic controls are intuitive and easy to use.
- LED Display: Independently displays the set temperature, room temperature, and auto timer settings.
- Washable Air Filter: A washable air filter helps remove allergens and other particles from incoming air and helps produce clean air.
