This updated version of the Friedrich EP08G11B is designed to deliver a quiet performance and, featuring that ability to control it with your phone via the Friedrich Go™ App, it takes comfort to a whole new level. This unit works best in rooms up to 350 square feet.
User-Friendly Comfort
Achieving the right indoor temperature is easy with the Friedrich CEW08B11B. No matter the season, its multiple operating modes ensure you always have the perfect setting.
- Cool Mode: On hot summer days, 8,000 BTUs of cooling power will keep you comfortable indoors.
- Heat Mode: Designed with an electric heater, this unit provides 4,200 BTUs of supplemental heating power in the winter.
- Dry Mode: Helps to dehumidify your space by removing 2.1 pints of excess moisture every hour.
- Fan Mode: Provides a steady circulation of fresh air throughout your room.
- Auto Mode: Simply set your desired room temperature and let the AC choose the best operating mode to achieve it.
Wi-Fi Enabled Control
With the Friedrich Chill Premier, the days of having to be in your home to monitor your air conditioner are gone. Built as a Wi-Fi enabled appliance, total control is right there in the palm of your hand via the Friedrich Go™ App (iTunes, Google Play).

This unit can be installed through a wall. Building a wooden frame is required when installing the case through-the-wall. The opening and dimension of the wooden frame should be:

I have hot water heat in my house, so I air condition the second-floor bedroom with the Friedrich AC unit. (I air condition the first floor with a Fijitsu mini-split heat pump). Compared to the previous through-the-wall AC unit, this one is exceptionally good. It is comparatively quiet. It does a good job of dehumidifying the bedroom. It seems well built and study. Time will tell if that is the case in the long run. I like the remote control. I am not sure I will ever use the wifi feature, but that might be important to some user. The only thing Friedrich could do to improve the unit is to backlight the buttons. I find the labels hard to see in low light. I am sure that after using the unit a few times, the user will know the buttons from memory.
