I use it to heat/cool a small cabin on Lake Lanier. This is my third unit in 11 years. I suspect that power outages at least once per month are to blame for the circuit board to fail. The other two units had the heat strip and weren't heat pumps…I hope that might make a difference in the lifespan. This is a good unit but rather expensive and the internet connectivity is great when it works, which is seldom. If they could get the internet connectivity fixed and make it more robust or a decent repair facility in the Atlanta area it would get 5 stars. Obviously, I think it's good enough to buy despite its shortcomings.
