Description
The Hisense 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner takes on the heat of summer with efficiency and ease, so you can spend your summer in a cooler, drier space. Designed for areas up to 350 square feet.
- Three Operating Modes: Select Cooling, Dehumidifying, or Fan-Only mode based on the need of the day.
- Drain Free Design: All accumulated moisture is vented out of the AC through the venting hose.
- Quiet Functioning: Not only does it operate quietly, but there is also a Sleep Function to ensure cool, quiet rest.
- Simple Set-Up: A complete window kit and instructions are included, for fast installation.
Functionality for the Day
Hot, humid, or moderate. No matter what the weather conditions, this Hisense portable AC can take them on and make living more comfortable with one of three operating modes.
- Cooling: When the temperature climbs, select this mode and set the thermostat to your desired temperature from 61 degrees to 86 degrees F.
- Dry: Some days can be stifling, even if it isn’t all that hot outside. Use the Dry mode to dehumidify your space and breath easily.
- Fan: Add a bit, or a lot of air circulation to your space when temperatures are more moderate by selecting Fan mode and setting the speed as desired.
No-Sweat Setup
All you need is a double-hung or sliding window, plus the included window kit, and you can be set up for indoor comfort in minutes. Hisense includes detailed instructions that make installation simple.
- Window Size: The sliding window bracket with select panels can accommodate windows from 18 inches to 50 inches in width. Consult the included chart for the correct panels for your window.
- Hose and Adapters: Attach the adapters to each end of the exhaust hose.
- Attach to Unit: Attach the hose end with the unit adapter to the AC unit.
- Bracket in the Window: Cut the included foam seal to the window width and apply. Insert the bracket into the window, close it and install the window lock brackets.
- Attach to Window Panel: Attach the hose end adapter into the opening in the window panel.
No Draining Necessary
Some portable air conditioners require a drain hose or have a pan or bucket that has to monitored and emptied. Not the Hisense AHP08222CW1W. It features self-evaporation functionality that exhausts accumulated moisture out through the vent hose for stress-free use.
Smart Operation
Relax and use your Smartphone to power on and operate this smart portable AC with the ConnectLife App available in Google Play or the Apple Store. You can also use voice control via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. And, it includes a handy full-function remote control, just in case you prefer it.
Additional Features
- Dimmer: Use this button to turn off the control panel display.
- Sleep Mode: You can select this no matter which operating mode is in use. This will lower the fan speed and make automatic temperature adjustments for optimal sleeping conditions for eight hours.
- Swing: For fuller cooling coverage, press this button to automatically swing the vertical airflow direction louvers. Press again to hold them in a desired position.
- Timer: Delay the On or Off function of your unit from 0-24 hours in 1-hour increments.
- Auto Fan: For automatic fan speed operation, select this fan mode and your unit will automatically adjust the fan speed as needed.
