Description
Stay cool with 12,000 BTUs of cooling power with the Keystone KSTAW12INV Window Air Conditioner with inverter technology. Designed for areas up to 550 sq. ft., it operates efficiently and carries the Energy Star rating.
Also available in a model with a heat pump, you can warm up spaces with 10,000 BTUs of heat when days grow cooler.
Multi-Mode Versatility
- Cool: Use this mode to set the cooling function, using the up/down buttons to select your desired temperature. Select from three fan speeds to stay comfortable.
- Dry: This allows your AC to operate as a dehumidifier, removing approximately 1.8 pints per hour. Some degree of cooling will continue; however, fan speed is not adjustable in this mode.
- Auto: When in this mode, cooling or fan-only operation is selected automatically, along with the best fan speed, to maintain your set temperature.
- Fan Only: Just like it sounds, this mode allows you to operate the fan by itself, for a refreshing breeze when days are not so hot, but you need air circulation.
- Heat: Set your desired temperature and then select your preferred fan speed for perfect warmth. You can operate the heat in temperatures down to 41° F. (model with heat pump only)
Additional money saving features include an energy saver mode, sleep mode, and a programmable 24-hour timer.

These 12,000 BTU window air conditioners are available in a cooling-only unit for climates that stay hotter, longer. And, in a cooling/heating model that includes a 10,000 BTU heat pump for environments that become cooler, sooner. Whichever you select, these reliable AC’s will help keep you comfortable year-round.
Efficient Operation
Keystone’s inverter technology makes these window AC’s very efficient, as well as quiet—as much as 27% (cooling) and 18% (with heat) compared to similar models. Check out these numbers:

Additional Features
- Timer: You can set your AC to automatically start or stop in ½-hour increments up to 10 hours, then in 1-hour increments up to 24 hours.
- Operating Temperatures: This window unit allows you to operate it in cooling mode in temperatures from 69° F up to 109° Fahrenheit. In heat mode, from 41° F to 75° F.
- Washable Air Filter: Access the filter by opening the front panel and pulling it up and out. Wash with warm water and allow to dry thoroughly. You can also vacuum it if you prefer.
- Four-Way Airflow: Adjust the louvers left to right and up and down to send cooling air where you need it.
