Description
The Keystone 23,200 BTU Window Air Conditioner or Air Conditioner with Heat give you the choice of a cooling unit only or a unit with both cooling and heating functionality for spaces up to 1,500 sq. ft.
Both units have a slide-out chassis for easy installation and can be fitted into a double-hung window or installed through the wall.
*Note: The KSTAW25C (Cooling) unit requires 230V/20A power supply and has a NEMA 6-20P plug face. The KSTAW25A (Cooling & Heating) unit requires a 230V/30A power supply has a NEMA 6-30P plug face.
Multi-Mode Functionality
As the season change, so does your need for indoor climate comfort. Keep your home office, living area, or kitchen/eating space comfortable all year round with one of these multi-functional units. The Keystone 25,000 BTU window units offer multiple ways to control your indoor air for maximum comfort.
- Cooling: You will have 25,000 BTUs of cooling capacity to fight back against summer heat waves. Select from 3 fan speeds.
- Dehumidify: Remove up to 5.7 pints of moisture per hour for days when humidity levels soar.
- Fan Only: Spring and Fall days can be breezy and mild, and you can take advantage by adding fresh air to your space using the air vent and fan mode.
- Heating: With the Keystone KSTHW25A model, you also have 16,000 BTUs of supplemental heating power for year-round comfort. Heating operates at a single fan speed.
Optional Wall Installation
These unit can be easily installed in any double-hung window with a minimum width of 31 inches and a maximum width of 42 inches. The slide-out-chassis makes it simple to install without the weight of the unit, then slide the AC in to finish up.
You also have the option of installing these ACs through the wall should you not have a window available in the space you want to cool, or if the window is too small for the unit.
Extra Operating Modes
Additional modes of operation help you conserve energy, enjoy uninterrupted sleep, or complete “hands-off” use.
- Energy Saver: To conserve energy and save money, use this mode for more limited compressor use and coordinated use of the fan to lower the temperature at a slower pace.
- Sleep Feature: In this mode, the set temp will increase (or decrease) by 2° F 30 minutes after selection. After another 30 minutes it will change again and remain steady for 6 hours before returning to the original set temperature.
- Auto Feature: This allows you to set the temperature and forget about fan speed or switching modes. The unit will automatically adjust to maintain your set temperature, while still allowing you to select a different fan speed if desired.
Additional Features
- Electronic Controls with LED Display: So easy to see and select the desired temperature and operating mode.
- Remote Control: The full-function remote control includes a “follow-me” function that records the temperature at the remote location and adjusts operation accordingly.
- 24-Hour Timer: Use this to start or stop the unit after a pre-set number of hours. You’ll come home to a comfortable space and save money by not using the unit when it isn’t needed.
- Air Flow Control: Use the 4-way directional air flow control to direct air where it’s most needed.
- Washable Air Filter: Designed to help trap larger particles and dust, your air will be cleaner as well as cooler. A “check filter” indicator will flash on the control panel when it’s time to clean it.
- Auto Restart: This feature saves your settings and automatically restarts the AC after a power outage.
