Miele’s exclusive Multi-stage AirClean Filtration operates within a Sealed System ensuring that all dirt and debris is kept in the vacuum’s bag and out of your air.
- Protecting the motor while filtering fine dust inside the vacuum, the Pre-Motor Filter extends the life of the motor which translates into less maintenance headaches for you.
- With a self-locking collar, snap close closure, and 9 layers of specially designed filter material, the AirClean 3D Efficiency FilterBags offer exceptional ability to retain particulates--super relief for allergy sufferers.
- In addition, the HEPA Airclean Filter contains a layer of activated charcoal to neutralize odors and catch even the tiniest of particles.

I used my Complete C3 Calima canister vacuum for the first time today. It works beautifully. The box arrived on Tuesday. I opened the package on Wednesday, and was frustrated with how difficult it was to read and understand both the illustrations and the guidelines in the manual. I had a hard time knowing which end of the hose went in which port; it was difficult to fit each part securely into each port or slot and to wait for the click. I finally managed to assemble it, but was afraid to use it because I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it. When I opened the compartment, the vacuum bag and the HEPA filter were already inserted. I couldn't figure out how to make the timeline turn red. The "button" on the strip didn't seem to do anything, and I didn't see the start of a red line appear. I was seriously ready to take it apart and send it back. I waited overnight and searched for some videos to watch and to hear what other users had to say. I stopped the videos from time to time to compare my machine with the ones I was viewing online. Then I looked inside the canister again, and this time could see the start of the red line. The HEPA filter and the vacuum bag seemed securely attached. I checked that all of the hoses and parts were securely attached; plugged it in; and turned on the power. It works great!!!
