Better Filtration for Allergy-Sufferers
Miele’s exclusive Multi-stage AirClean Filtration operates within a Sealed System ensuring that all dirt and debris is kept in the vacuum’s bag and out of your air.
- Protecting the motor while filtering fine dust inside the vacuum, the Pre-Motor Filter extends the life of the motor which translates into less maintenance headaches for you.
- With a self-locking collar, snap close closure, and 9 layers of specially designed filter material, the AirClean 3D Efficiency FilterBags offer exceptional ability to retain particulates--super relief for allergy sufferers.
- In addition, the HEPA Airclean Filter contains a layer of activated charcoal to neutralize odors and catch even the tiniest of particles.
This patented filtration system removes more than 99.97% of dust and allergens down to 0.3 microns, so your whole family can breathe easy.

Six suction control settings let you conveniently move from carpets to hard floors, from gauzy curtains to heavy upholstery. Control them easily via +/- foot dials. In addition to the standard, the Calima comes with these helpful (and easy to use) tools:
- TurboTeq Brush: A rotating roller brush has stiff bristles to help loosen dirt, collect hair, and remove other debris. It’s perfect for short-pile carpets and rugs. Rotating dial allows direct suction control to the brush head in addition to the power suction settings on the vacuum.
- Parquet Floor Tool: Perfect for hard floors, this tool features a SwivelNeck that rotates 180 degrees providing the agility to clean around tables, chair legs, and other obstacles you encounter while cleaning.
- Telescopic Wand: Easily increase your reach with this adjustable wand for hard-to-reach places.
Like all C3 canister vacuums, the Miele Complete C3 Calima has onboard storage for its standard C3 accessories:

Recently purchased after my 35 y/o Electrolux finally died. I am hoping this new vacuum lasts just as long. After the first several uses, found that the mechanical brush attachment works much better than floor attachment without the mechanical brush. Nice having all the other attachment inside the body of the vacuum. Also much lighter than my old vacuum with as much or more suction power. A bit pricy, but if you want something that works and is expected to last a long time, this vacuum is for you.

Perfect vacuum for hardwood, tile and large area rugs. This is my sixth Miele vacuum purchase. They are all outstanding for different floor types. I have one on every floor of my houses.
