Description
The PURAERO PA-45-LGR Dehumidifier is a compact unit that can pull up to 85 pints of moisture per day from areas like crawl spaces and basements, as well as other constricted locations.
Features such as low temperature operation, an included drain line, internal condensate pump, and high airflow make this compact dehumidifier ideal for a variety of applications.
Compact & Powerful
This compact LGR dehumidifier measures only 20 H x 15.1 W x 25.2 L allowing it to fit into small crawl spaces, unheated storage buildings, basements, and many other areas that remain damp.
With 300 CFM of airflow, the PURAERO PA-45-LGR can remove 85 pints per day at AHAM (80°F & 60% RH) and up to 145 pints per day at Saturation (90°F & 90% RH).
Low-Temperature Operation
This compact LGR dehumidifier can operate at temperatures as low as 33 degrees and up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit, so it’s great for use in areas without consistent heating and cooling. Plus, with automatic defrost capabilities and the included 25-foot drain line, you don’t have to worry about constant oversight.
Digital Control Panel
The PA-45-LGR crawl space dehumidifier is equipped with a digital control panel which displays the time and humidity, defrosting operation, and purging operation. Track job times and lifetime hours of the unit. The control panel can be locked to avoid accidental changes.
- Operating Indicator: Indicates “Off”, “Power Available/Unit Off”, “Control Panel locked/Unit On”
- Up/Down Controls: Use these buttons to set the desired humidity level for 99% to 26% or you can select “CO” for continuous operation
- Time Control: Press to display current operating hours and lifetime hours. For current operating hours, press once; for lifetime hours, press twice.
- Purge Control: The pump automatically initiates a pump purge cycle when the reservoir is full, turning off the unit until completed. Manually initiate a pump purge cycle which will operate for 40 seconds. During this, the purging indicator light will illuminate.
- Defrosting Indicator: When the unit detects ice on the coil it will turn the compressor off while the blower pulls air from the environment across the coil until the ice is melted.
Ducting Option
The PURAERO PA-45-LGR compact dehumidifier can be ducted using a 7-inch diameter or larger lay flat duct to the air outlet. Increasing the distance between the air inlet on one side of the unit, from the air outlet on the opposite side of the unit, will maximize drying performance.
Additional Features
- Air Filtration: This dehumidifier includes an air filter to capture large particles. It can be cleaned using a vacuum and washed with lukewarm water with mild detergent. Allow to air dry before replacing.
- Auto Trouble Shoot: If there is a problem with the dehumidifier, the control panel will flash an error code. A full list is included in the owner’s manual for fast identification of the problem and solution.
- Long Power Cord: Equipped with a 15-foot power cord, this unit is more convenient to place.
- Durable Interlocking Housing: Constructed from industry-standard rotomolded plastic, the dehumidifier can stand tough environments. Interlocking design keeps multiple units solid during transportation.
- Sound Level: This LGR dehumidifier operates at 72 decibels, only slightly louder than normal conversation level.

Used in winter in 900sq ft glass enclosure that averages 60 degrees. Does not prevent frost on window frames when below freezing but drastically reduces dripping and mold growth. Continues to extract at low temperatures. Reliable through 5272hr over two years. 61 decibels measured by apple watch approximately 1 foot above. Would give it 5 stars if the blower throttled back when the compressor was off and if it lasts more than four years. So far so good.
