Genuine ThinkGrow UV Light Bar adds a portion of the spectrum to completely mimic natural sunlight. Adding UV light increases terpene production, which improves the smell and flavor of herbs.
One UV-1 bar produces 70 watts of full-spectrum light plus 10 watts of supplemental UV light. It is recommended to substitute two UV light bars for a 4'x4’ or 5'x5’ coverage area in the last 4 weeks of the flowering cycle.
