Unit is more quiet than previous humidifiers I've owned.
Has a light sensor to vary intensity, but the lights are always on at least dimly. Beware if you plan on having it in a bedroom and are sensitive to light when trying to sleep.
The opposed water jugs will show you quickly if your floor isn't level. I have one that empties first before the other because of this.
