Description

Sleek and unobtrusive, the Whirlpool 15,000 BTU Inverter Window Air Conditioner won’t detract from your living spaces while providing cool, energy-efficient comfort. The three operating modes and fan speeds provide customized comfort throughout the summer months in large areas up to 700 square feet.

  • Cool Mode: Used most often, this mode cools the room and alleviates some humidity in your space.
  • Fan Only Mode: Use this mode, along with fan speed adjustment, to circulate air through the room on days when cooling isn’t needed.
  • Dry Mode: This function helps to reduce the moisture in the air on high-humidity days.

Efficient and Quiet

This Energy Star air conditioner features inverter technology, allowing the motor to operate at lower speeds while maintaining a cool environment. This also lowers the sound level so conversation and media use aren’t interrupted. These additional energy-saving features, plus a unique mute button, keep energy costs and ambient noise even lower.

  • 24-Hour Timer: You can program the timer to either shut the AC unit on or off so that it won’t run when it isn’t needed.
  • Eco Mode: In this mode, the compressor operates intermittently as needed to maintain the set temperature.
  • Sleep Mode: In sleep mode, the air conditioner reduces the fan speed and gradually increases the set point to adjust for lower nighttime temperatures.
  • Mute: Pressing this button will change the fan speed to mute speed, lowering the sound level to 42 dB.

Easy to Install

A complete installation kit is included with this Whirlpool Window AC for fast, easy installation. This kit includes adhesive, hardware, brackets, seals, gaskets, and plasticine. It accommodates windows 29.5 to 41 inches wide with a height opening of at least 18.5 inches.

  • Auto Fan: This function automatically adjusts the fan speed to correspond to the cooling and airflow requirements based on the setting.
  • Air Filter: Conveniently located behind the front intake grille of the unit, this captures particles for cleaner air. A Clean Filter reminder will light on the control plan, and it can be cleaned by vacuuming or washing in mild dish soap and warm water.
  • Eco-Friendly Refrigerant: This window AC unit uses environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant.
  • On-board Thermostat: Set the desired temperature between 61 degrees and 88 degrees F.
  • Auto Restart: In case of a power outage, this window air conditioner will restart automatically when power is restored, saving the settings.
