The True HEPA and washable AOC Carbon filter set captures dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, mold spores, VOC's, and household odors. The washable AOC™ (Advanced Odor Control) Carbon Filter with activated carbon granules traps odors and extends the life of the True HEPA filter.

I have this sitting on a table in my living room where we watch TV and socialize. I can see in the evening sunbeams that it has taken much of the dust particles out of the air. I am not sure if this is psychological, but I feel like it makes the room cooler. It is very quiet and I only notice that it is on when I see the blue light. I like it.

I have a large reef aquarium in my office. The protein skimmer mixes air and water to remove waste. It used to stink in there before I bought this air filter. It's very effective.

I bought on two Winx purifiers I have the 5200 and the 5300. I buy two replacement packages at the same time for both units at around 9:00 to 12 months. The filters are easy to put in the unit and they work well they help with the allergies and the 5300 works more for smoking I don't smoke neighbors smoke and I need the 5300 for that purpose. I used to the carbon filter in the 5300 I don't throw it out I use it and put it in my closet and it works it's still cleaned. So yes I'm very happy with both units and the replacement filters. I think they're well worth it.
