Good product, but look at aprilaire as well for sure.
Ihave the comparable and comparably priced and warranted aprialire unit as well as the Oaisis-the oasis is smaller , (but not lighter) the color control screen easier to read , esp in poorly lit area, and adjust, (tho more information on aprilaire screen) and allows you to duct at right angle to the unit (this configuration typically advantageous esp in confined space, closet etc, but not always-your mileage may vary) the aprilaire however is quieter but larger. I also prefer the aprilaire washable filter ; im able to pretty much restore it completely with gentle washing or placing in dishwasher. The humidistat seems a tad more accurate, but the preprogrammed overshoot is greater as well to reduce cycling. It also allows you to place control screen on top or side-that's very handy. Build quality may even be better on aprilaire, and the protection of the interior is better with their rigid filter. Overall, if I have the space for the unit and ducting, id go with aprilaire, but there will certainly be placements where thats not possible . I also believe i have more control options with sante fe units (ie linking to hvac, dehum, etc- in general-will see if there's e are available with he oasis. Both pull out same amount fo water in identical RH environments; of curse both being under their rated pints per day.
