Description

Modern building codes call for more outdoor air in commercial spaces, and every cubic foot you bring in has to be heated, cooled, or dried. The S&P TRCeN Series Commercial Energy Recovery Ventilator handles that load with an air-to-air recovery core. The core pre-conditions incoming air using the outgoing stream and keeps the 2 airflows separate. You can pick a single-direction or a V-type dual-direction airflow configuration.

The cabinet is laid out for service. Access doors open to the blowers, core, and filters, and differential pressure ports in the core let you take pressure readings to monitor how the system is running. You can set it on a concrete floor using the factory-provided leveling legs or attach it to a ceiling or structural support.

Same-Side vs. Opposite-Side Airflow: Choose Your Configuration

The TRCeN Series comes in a Single Direction Airflow configuration and a V-Type Dual Direction Airflow configuration, and the right one depends on where your return air and outside air ducts reach the ventilator.

Single Direction Airflow (TRCeN500): Return air and outside air both enter on the same side of the cabinet, which suits installations where both duct runs come from one direction.
V-Type Dual Direction Airflow (TRCeN500V): Return air and outside air enter on opposite sides of the cabinet, so each duct can run straight to its own side when the runs come from opposing directions.

The resin core is the feature to note: it resists frost down to -10 degrees F and needs no condensate pan or drain, so you can place it where plumbing would be difficult.
