How does the EyeVac work?
Infrared sensors are the key component, keeping the EyeVac always on and ready with fast-acting vacuum suction. The air purifier runs constantly in the background to give you improved air quality, or it can also activate with the sensors when you need a more powerful fan speed.
How do you reset the EyeVac?
After replacing the air filters, turn the air purifier on and hold the Activate button for 5 seconds to reset the filter indicator.
How do you activate an EyeVac?
The infrared sensors on the front will activate the vacuum when you sweep dust and debris to the opening. If the AUTO mode is selected, it will instantly pick up everything; otherwise, you can turn the vacuum on manually with the Activate button.
How do you clean the filter on the EyeVac?
If needed, you can clean the pre-motor filter by rinsing it under running water with or without mild soap and a soft-bristled brush. For the exhaust filter, gently tap it against a trash can to remove loose debris before washing it with mild soap and water. Ensure that filters are completely dry before re-inserting them into the EyeVac machine.
The air filters for either side of the unit should be replaced every 4 to 6 months, depending on usage–the filter light indicator will let you know when it's time to replace them. These packs of two filters can be purchased separately.
