Simple Digital Controls

- Sleep Mode: Runs for 8 hours on low fan speed while you sleep and then goes back to your previous settings.

I've had a Whispure 510 in my bedroom for 17 years and it is still going strong. It's done a great job of keeping my allergies (pets, dust mites, pollen…the usual suspects) in check. So when I moved into a dusty older home it was a no brainer to get another Whirlpool for the living room. I love the Whispure's quiet operation and control simplicity. Filter replacement is a quick 5 minute operation. My order arrived from Sylvane in 4 days (GA to VT). The double boxing insured pristine product condition. I intend to start getting replacement filters from Sylvane as well since they stock genuine Whirlpool true HEPA filters (vs the discount aftermarket ones I've been using which I suspect are not true HEPA). #sweepstakes

I researched very long for a purifier and this had one of the best CADR. It is an excellent, ""old-school"" basic purifier which is why I purchased. The size was not too big and it had a good, white noise sound, but there was a high pitch that I did not like: my husband did not notice and did not bother him. The size was a little large, but usable. I ultimately returned, however. Sylvane's service was professional, responsive, and the return was easy with no complications. Will keep trying to find one that better suits our needs.
