Description

Suncourt ZoneMaster Adjustable Motorized Dampers turn a single duct run into its own zone, responding to electronic signals from your standard low-voltage thermostat. Normally closed ZC models open under power and spring shut. Normally open ZO models close under power and spring back open, so you pick the resting position that suits each zone.

 

The patented coupler lets you set the blade anywhere from 0 to 90 degrees in both the powered and unpowered positions, so you can trim airflow instead of switching it fully on or off. A closed-cell foam gasket on the 20-gauge blade keeps leakage under 5 percent, which minimizes air loss into zones you have shut off. The 24-gauge galvanized steel housing fits rigid or flex duct. Its UL-listed 2-wire hysteresis gear motor draws only 6 watts at 0.25 amps, which puts very little load on your control circuit.

Every damper ships with a 120-volt to 24-volt AC, 20 volt-ampere plug-in transformer and 6 size 6 sheet metal screws, so you can plug it into a standard outlet or hardwire it. The dampers are BABA compliant and made in the USA.

  • 4-Inch Damper: This damper measures 8 x 4 x 7-inches (L x W x H) and weighs 1.7 pounds. It comes as normally closed (ZC204) or normally open (ZO204).
  • 5-Inch Damper: This damper measures 8 x 5 x 8-inches (L x W x H) and weighs 1.94 pounds. It comes as normally closed (ZC205) or normally open (ZO205).
  • 6-Inch Damper: This damper measures 8 x 6 x 9-inches (L x W x H) and weighs 2.18 pounds. It comes as normally closed (ZC206) or normally open (ZO206).
  • 8-Inch Damper: This damper measures 8 x 8 x 11-inches (L x W x H) and weighs 3.15 pounds. It comes as normally closed (ZC208) or normally open (ZO208).
  • 10-Inch Damper: This damper measures 8 x 10 x 13-inches (L x W x H) and weighs 3.78 pounds. It comes as normally closed (ZC210) or normally open (ZO210).
  • 12-Inch Damper: This damper measures 8 x 12 x 15-inches (L x W x H) and weighs 4.56 pounds. It comes as normally closed (ZC212) or normally open (ZO212).

    Works but check the connections.

    Works as intended, nice that it includes a transformer, even though I didn't need it. The damper didn't work at first, it appears the (factory) connection from the motor to the connection block was loose - it just uses spring clips. A little wiggle and it started working. A screw terminal block would be preferable though, and I may just replace it with crimped connections or something. #sweepstakes
