The Chill Premier 5,000 BTU Window AC is already Wi-Fi enabled, controlled through the Friedrich GO app. Connect in minutes and save energy and money by setting a customized 7-day schedule to cool rooms up to 150 sq. ft.
With the ability to adjust settings, modes, and fan speeds at your fingertips, you’ll also minimize maintenance costs and extend the life of the unit. And when you’re at home, you can control this unit using Amazon Alexa or Google Home.
Easy to Install
This unit has a one-piece frame with the sleeve built into the unit and comes with the complete window kit for quick and easy installation. Using a standard 115V wall outlet, the 6-ft. power cord can be run to the right or left-hand side of the AC making placement easier.
Quiet Operation
Heavy-duty insulation inside the unit’s wall plus a stiffened sheet metal casing muffle internal fan and motor sounds and block external noise. Internal counterweights help to soften vibration, decreasing sound and wide air discharge vents maximize airflow and reduce front panel noise.
This noise-reducing design creates a unit that is as much as 25% more quiet in lab tests than similar units.

The units arrived on time and without any damages. They were ready to install and firmly in place quickly. I used professional installers because the windows were hard for me to reach. I used the remote option to facilitate turning the AC on and off. The units are working well.

I have to Friedrich window units, one in the kitchen near the stove.The remote control is necessary because there is a counter between the window and the stove. We used velcro on the wall near the counter to be able to power on and off the AC. The summer heat in the kitchen is too much even when one burner is on. Now the problem is solved. The other unit is in a bedroom and works very well.
