A customer favorite for reliable moisture removal, the Friedrich D35B1B is easy to use. Simply remove it from the box, plug it in and set your desired humidity level. This Friedrich dehumidifier does the rest for you.
It’s ideal for use in small-to-medium rooms up to 500 square feet.
Program Your Moisture Removal
- Automatic Humidity Control: Easily set your ideal humidity level on the control panel. This unit automatically maintains it. The control panel also displays your current humidity level as the dehumidifier works to match your set level.
- Adjustable Humidity: A built-in humidistat allows you to set your ideal humidity level from 30 to 90 percent relative humidity in increments of 5 percent.
- 24-Hour On/Off Timer: Set your Friedrich dehumidifier to turn on or off up to 24 hours in advance, conserving energy and ensuring it only runs when needed.
Continuous Drainage with Internal Condensate Pump
- Internal Pump: The most convenient way to get rid of collected moisture is to turn on the internal condensate pump, which pushes water up to 15 feet away into a sink, out a window or other location. Its included drain hose is nearly 17 feet long.
- Gravity Drainage: Add the drain hose to the back of the unit for continuous draining to a floor drain or other location. This is a great option for people with floor drains.
- Manual Emptying: If you’re not using your dehumidifier continuously, you can simply empty the bucket when it’s full. A light on the control panel will notify you it’s full and operation will cut off until the bucket is emptied.
Energy Star Efficiency
Designed to meet Energy Star's minimum energy factor standard for residential dehumidifiers, this Friedrich dehumidifier removes 2 liters of moisture per kilowatt hour (L/kWh). Its fan cycles off with the compressor to help conserve energy.
Other efficient features include a programmable timer and real-time humidity testing.

- Easy Mobility: Four rolling casters and two side-grip carry handles make it easy to transport this dehumidifier from room to room. This compact dehumidifier stands at 15 x 23.25 x 12 inches.
- Reusable Filter: The Friedrich 35-pint dehumidifier includes a washable air filter that easily slides out of the front panel.
- Full Bucket Indicator: The bucket full indicator will illuminate on the display panel when the water condensate bucket is full. To prevent overflow, it automatically shuts down until the drain bucket is emptied and replaced.
- Long Power Cord: Easily plug in the 6-foot power cord to a nearby outlet.
- Multiple Fan Speeds: This portable dehumidifier is equipped with a two-speed fan.
- Operating Temperature: Use the Friedrich D35B1A in any room between 41 and 90 degrees F.
- Automatic Defrost: A defrost cycle will run if frost builds up on the internal coils during operation, then return to normal operation.

Very effective water-moisture removal. We are using it at our Lake House and are not there most of the time unit is in use. Down side to unit is that the timer is one stage setting and since the directions for the unit were not user friendly in my opinion, we had to call to find out another way of using it for our specific use. Wished the unit was designed better for timed usage

Product effectively removes water and has the versatility of having a condensate pump, a gravity drain, or manually emptying the bucket. Note that the 50 pint rating is for summer time and a humidity of 100%. At 70 degrees and 50% humidify the effective rate is 1/3 the advertised. This is typical of all dehumidifiers. Also note that Freidrich sells service parts. Other dehumidifiers in this price range are non serviceable. Beware of units that have only one year warranties and are non serviceable. Units with a one year warranty on the compressor may be cheaper but will not last much past their warranty period.
