With 2 floor tools plus on-board accessory tools, the Kona makes vacuuming your entire home a breeze. Swift Whole-House Cleaning
The Miele Complete C3 Kona comes with two unique floor heads for extra versatility plus on-board attachments for easy access. Use the electrically-driven ElectroPlus Floor Tool, with its 14-inch wide brushroll and 5 height adjustment levels, for swift handling of low to medium to high-pile carpeting. A deluxe handle grip allows control of the brush roll from your fingertips, so moving from playroom low carpets or hard flooring to plush living room carpeting is super-easy.
For larger areas of wood or other hard flooring, attach the included Parquet Twister Floor Head, one of Miele's most popular add-on tools. Included with the Kona canister vacuum, the Parquet Twister swivels 180° to quickly clean around tables and chairs without having to slide them around. Powerful suction draws dirt, debris, and even fine dust into the vacuum from all directions, thanks to this floor tool's notched, soft brush bristles.
Advanced HEPA Filtration
Miele’s exclusive multi-stage AirClean Sealed System ensures that what goes into the vacuum, stays in the vacuum, instead of being released back into your air. These filtration features help provide true relief for allergy and asthma sufferers.
- Patented GN 3D Filter Dustbags are constructed of 9 layers of electrostatically charged material that retains all dirt and debris. Its self-closing cap automatically seals the bag when the housing is open so that even when changing, nothing escapes--plus your hands stay clean.
- The HEPA AirClean Filter includes another bonus for you-- a layer of activated charcoal to neutralize unsavory odors. HEPA filtration ensures that air exhausted from the vacuum is 99.97% allergen-free, filtering particulates down to 0 .3 microns. This filter has a monitor strip right on the side so you can easily see when a change is needed.

I've only used it a few times but it seems to be a very solid, well made product. It is heavy, so I wish I had gotten the Compact. (I opted for Kona to have larger dirt bag). The ergonomic handle is great for vacuuming the floor, but awkward for dusting, eg getting into book shelves and small spaces. Suction on power head excellent. I wish there were an attachment for doing carpeted stairs. I would have also been ok with a dial to control suction. Overall I think Miele offers too many models. I had a hard time comparing all the models and their features. I'm not unhappy, but for spending $900, I should be thrilled.

I have a C2 Miele canister that I love, but this model is definitely an upgrade. It breezes over carpet, and has such power that I snapped the cord for a floor lamp the first week-it moves so quickly and easily, and with plenty of power. My only complaint is that the feature on the vacuum head that allows you to toggle between the power is clunky. You can toggle with your feet, but it's not easy or precise. I wouldn't let it dissuade you from buying the vacuum, I just hope Miele works on it for future models.
