Description
3M FSK Facing Tape 1525CW is designed for sealing and patching FSK-faced duct wrap insulation for use in cold temperatures as low as -40 degrees F. It can also be used as a vapor seal for reinforced aluminum-faced fiberglass, mineral wool thermal insulation, and sheet metal.
- Irregular Surfaces: Conforms and shapes itself to irregular surfaces while offering easy removal for a simple application process.
- FSK: Made with foil/scrim/kraft lamination coated with a solvent acrylic, pressure-sensitive adhesive for a secure bond.
- Safety Rated: Meets UL723 and CAN/ULC S102 classification flame/smoke rating.
Tri-Directional Reinforced Backing
This FSK tape is a 5.5 mil facing tape comprised of a foil/scrim/kraft laminated backing that is not only terrific in cold weather but excels in all demanding temperature and humidity conditions. This backing makes the tape flexible and allows it to conform to irregular surfaces and curves while making it resistant to mold, UV, and other environmental conditions.
Ultimate for Cold Weather
Coated with a pressure-sensitive, cold-weather solvent acrylic adhesive specifically designed for cold-weather applications, this 3M Venture FSK tape has a servicing temperature ranging from -40 degrees to 240 degrees F. Once bonded, it provides superior holding power that holds up well over time and resists curling and lifting.
