This Energy Star-certified air purifier employs a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 140 cubic feet per minute (CFM) for reliable and efficient air purification.
- Particulate Laser Sensor: The high-precision laser in this smart air purifier measures the concentration of PM2.5 particles and reports to the Airthings app for air quality history. Once it senses changes in air quality, it will automatically adjust the fan speed to keep your air clean.
- Coverage: Thoroughly clean air in rooms up to 262 square feet for 4 Air Changes Per Hour, or up to 1050 for 1 Air Change Per Hour.
- Modes of Operation: Choose Silent for nighttime use, which runs on the lowest fan speed at only 23 dB, Boost for a full-speed quick-cleanse, or Auto to utilize the particle sensor for automatic adjustments.
- Wi-Fi Enabled: Download the Airthings app on your mobile device to control this air purifier from anywhere. The app is compatible with iOS and Android operating systems. It allows you to change the operating mode, control the fan speed, and check the current air quality or historical data.
HEPA Filtration
A four-stage filtration process in the Airthings Renew provides clean, fresh air to help with allergies and general air quality.
- Outer Pre-Filter: This textile filter, made of durable speaker-grade textiles and resistant to liquid stains, catches large particles like dust and pet hair. It is removable and washable.
- Inner Pre-Filter: An inner pre-filter traps finer particles like dust and pollen and is fully removable and washable.
- HEPA 13 Filter: This medical-grade HEPA 13 filter traps 99.97 percent of particles over 0.2 microns, such as viruses, pollen, bacteria, and mold spores.
- Charcoal Filter: Constructed with active charcoal, this layer captures volatile organic compounds (VOCs), gases, and odors caused by cooking, smoke, and pets.
