The Replacement Inlet Duct Collar gives your Aprilaire dehumidifier a port for joining 6-inch supply ductwork to the intake side of the cabinet.
Air leaking around a poor duct seal is unexpected air, so moisture removal slows, and the blower works harder than it should. Fitting a fresh collar restores a tight duct-to-cabinet seal and keeps return air moving where you want it, whether the dehumidifier is ducted into a basement, crawl space, or a central return.
