Designed to be used with the 1700 Series of April Dehumidifiers, the Aprilaire 4510 Replacement Filter is a MERV 8 foam core and aluminum frame filter. Filtering most allergens, the MERV 8 filter is able to trap particles as small as 3 microns. For the Aprilaire to function at full capacity and to prevent any damage to the Aprilaire dehumidifier, the 4510 Replacement Filter should be cleaned or replaced once a year. The 4510 Filter can be easily cleaned by simply flushing it with warm water and a detergent solution. The 4510 filter is compatible with the Aprilaire 1700, 1710, 1750, 1720, 1770 and 1770A Dehumidifiers.

We just purchased a home that has a lot of bells and whistles and many are in need of filter replacements. On such item is our Aprilaire dehumidifier. We had an HVAC tech service our heating and cooling system and he inspected the Aprilaire dehumidifier and advised that we should change the filter. I conducted a web search and found Sylvane as a source and at a good price. We quickly received the replacement filter and installed it immediately.
