Description
Monitor the temperature outdoors or inside your ducts with the Aprilaire 8052 Duct or Outdoor Mount Temperature Sensor. The 8052 sensor works with your Aprilaire thermostat allowing you to monitor outside temperatures or duct temperatures giving your more control over your indoor environment.
The 8052 Temperature Sensor can be used with the S86NMU, S86NMUPR, S86WMUPR, 400KZ, 400MKZ, 500KZ, 500MKZ, 60, 600KZ, 600MKZ, 62, 6202, 6203, 6302, 6303, 6403, 6404, 700KZ, 700MKZ, 8126X, 8120X, 8600, 8620, 8620W, 8800, 8810, 8820, 8830, 8840, 8910, 8910W, 8920W thermostats. For optimal performance, install the 8052 outside in a shaded location, or in the outdoor air intake duct.
- Comes with integral mounting bracket
- Place in ductwork or mount outdoors
- Maximum distance between Sensor and thermostat - 300 ft.

Reasonable for aprilaire systems, however the included cord is relatively short. Simple to mount.

I used this as an outdoor temperature sensor for my smart thermostat. It works well and is accurate. A good addition to my heating/cooling system.

Outdoor temp sensor was part of Aprilaire model 800, upon installation the part was not providing readings within tolerances. Called Sylvane and they put me on with tech support, we verified sensor was out of specs, they returned me to sales and a replacement arrived in 2-days. Awesome!
