This approach filters air throughout your home rather than in a single room. You can choose MERV 11 or MERV 13 filtration.

  • MERV 11: Model U121 includes the 3F211 MERV 11 filter, which removes up to 92 percent of household dust and pollen. Its cabinet measures 22.167 inches high to help you assess installation clearance; it replaces the AprilAire 1210.
  • MERV 13: Model U223 builds on the MERV 11 option with a 3F213 MERV 13 filter, removing up to 95 percent of household dust and mold, plus allergens; controlled ASHRAE 52.2 testing recorded 92 percent capture of MS-2 virus.
