The DeLonghi HMP1500 micathermic panel heater combines radiant and convection heating technology to instantly deliver an even distribution of warmth throughout your space. This fanless flat panel radiator quietly heats your bedroom, home office, or den and can placed on the floor or mounted on the wall (kit included). Two heat settings—minimum (750 watts) and maximum (1,500 watts)—and an adjustable thermostat provide convenient operation and easy control. It's sleek, black design complements any room décor.
Efficient Micathermic Heating
Micathermic heaters produce convection and radiant heat that will warm your space up quickly. Thin and lightweight, panel heaters don’t contain fans, so they heat rooms without drying out the air. Instead, these heaters heat mica stone inside the heating element and then radiate heat throughout your space.

I have tried and tested several heater types and technologies and come to a conclusion that micathermic design gives the best result. The heating effect / power consumption ratio is suberb compared to other designs. Other pros are: Slim size, light and quiet. I have had a couple of older DeLonghi MICA heaters for over three years without a single problem. Sylvane as a vendor also gets ten points for prompt service and accurate information.

This is our second Delonghi. The first one was bought last year and is totally quiet. This newer one is still great, but does a have a quiet audible hum when it clicks on. We also bought a plug-in digital thermostat from amazon and use them in conjuction to keep the kids bedrooms at 65 (for the toddler) and 74 (for the infant). It's a great system for us.
