Description
The Ebac AD850E Dehumidifier effectively combines a streamlined style with top performance to effectively control humidity in a wide variety of spaces. This high-efficiency dehumidifier removes up to 56 pints of moisture each day from areas up to 1,700 square feet.
Equipped with two removable, washable air filters, an internal condensate pump, and included wall mounting bracket, this reliable unit can be easily installed almost anywhere.
Effective Moisture Removal
Control the relative humidity of spaces automatically using the automatic humidistat. Set the desired relative humidity, and this reliable dehumidifier will maintain that set point, running automatically for the most efficient operation. Compact but heavy without side handles or rollers to move . Instructions extremely brief and nothing additional online. Instructions state there are a number of ways to release the water but I can't figure out how to use the internal bucket as the water release. So I used the tube .

I have in my finished basement approx. 1900 sq. ft. Have been using it now for 1 year. Have a timer put on it, runs 1 hour every 6 hours. Does a good job.

I purchased this unit for my indoor pool project. The pool room is 1000 square ft housing a 16x16 swimming pool. This unit does not dissappoint. I've own my unit nearly 18 months, maintenance free, no issues. I keep the setting at 50% and it rarely raises much beyond 55% when the pool is uncovered during use. You notice it running only when you deliberately listen, otherwise it is unnoticeable. I know it is working because after we are finished in the pool, the floor is wet along with my retractable pool cover and within one hour the room is completely dry. I have never changed the setting. I sized my pool based on this unit's capacity because a larger pool would have required a more expensive unit. My plan had been if my unit was overwhelmed I was going to purchase another for the room. Happily this wasn't necessary. I run the drain line approximately 40 ft into my shrubbery and I'm not wasting water. I highly recommend this unit. My indoor pool would not have been a success without one.

Dehumidifier is located in pool room. Machine is operating. Does good job. Problem is digital display and controls. I cannot see what it's showing due to malfunctioning screen . Also cannot set humidity level.
