This replaced another Ebac CD100 that I purchased here in May 2013. The compressor failed in July 2019 in that unit. I was happy with its performance and it lasted 6 years, so I this identical unit to replace it. I use it to dehumidify my business's basement, which is 2500 square feet, with a fair amount of humidity that seeps in through the old masonry walls. It sees pretty regular use from March through September. I like to add chlorine tablets to the drip pan inside to prevent the drain line from plugging with algae. This is a bit of a hassle on this unit, as the cover has to come off and even then it is difficult to get to the drip tray with my large hands. It's a solid product, runs well, and will probably last you at least 5 years.

Warehouse is 2700 square feet and humidity levels were 75%. I was skeptical at first but after a few days of running this unit brought the himidity down to normal ranges between 55% and 60%. Very pleased with the performance.
