This commercial/industrial dehumidifier extracts 56 pints of moisture per day in AHAM conditions (80 degrees F, 60% relative humidity). With an effective air volume of 8,369 cubic feet, it's ideal for treating areas up to 1,500 square feet.
Key features include a pre-wired remote humidistat, high-capacity internal condensate pump, auto defrost, rugged construction, and simple plug-and-go operation.
High Lift Condensate Pump
A high-lift, fully automatic internal condensate pump allows for continuous condensate draining making remote operation simple. Set up the unit on a level surface, plug it into a standard 110-120-volt outlet, choose your desired humidity level, and connect the included drain tube.
Hours Run Meter
Easily track usage of this industrial dehumidifier with the on-board hours run meter. Handy meter displays job hours, as well as total system operating hours, for simplified job and maintenance management.
Additional Features
- Moisture Removal Rating: The CD60 is rated to remove 56 pints of moisture per day in AHAM conditions and process 360 cubic feet of air per minute (CFM).
- Low Temperature Operation: Works successfully in temperatures between 33 and 95 degrees F, minimizing downtime in cold conditions. "Hot Gas" reverse cycle defrosting system quickly melts frost build-up.
- Drain Tube Included: A 25-foot/3/8-inch I/D PVC drain tube is included. Just connect it to the condensate pump drain port and route it to a nearby drain or other appropriate location.
- Extra-Long Power Cord: A 27-foot power cord helps the unit treat a wide span of space on one power outlet.

has effectively dehumidified our four room (about 900 sq ft) basement for our 12 years. It's a 35 year old block wall structure so I know it transmits moisture vapor into the space. Just plugged it in and let it run (excepting winters) for all these years. Can't say enough good things about the unit. We previously used a big box store $250 unit that was overwhelmed and had no pump. The Ebac totally does the job.

Our company purchased two of these units to dehumidify the basement of a mixed use building. The units worked fine for two years and then started not working properly. Long story short, we discovered that both units leaked refrigerant. The refrigerant coils are only warranted for three years from the purchase date. Our units have been installed less than three years but that doesn't matter. Given the high cost of the units, we expected more reliable operation. We will not fix the units; rather we will be replacing them with lower cost units and will see how good of a job they will do. We told our engineer, who specified the units, that we are not happy with the units and suggested he find another manufacturer.

This is a replacement for my 20 year old unit with 45,000 hours on it. It is similar in appearance with the same specs. I hope this is as good as the old one.

Nice robust dehumidifier with remote humidistat. Quiet - good for a basement mechanical room. For very wet basements, i.e. old houses, don't expect to go below 55% RH. If you need more capacity, look at larger, low grain or even desiccant dehumidifiers.
