What is a Desiccant Dehumidifier?
Desiccant dehumidifiers use a process called adsorption (different from absorption) to remove moisture from damp air and saturated surfaces. This process uses a Silica Gel wheel, plus an internal heater, to recirculate drier air throughout a room, reducing overall humidity levels and drying surfaces. - Electronic Humidistat: The integrated electronic humidistat provides precise humidity control. All you have to do is adjust the desired set point.

- Humidity Display: During operation the humidistat display will show the current relative humidity of your space.
- Electric Controls: The controls located on the rear of the unit is where you’ll go to turn the dehumidifier on and off and to program the humidistat.
- PTC Heaters: Dual positive temperature coefficient heaters to provide the heat necessary to operate the rotors.
- Overheat Protection: Should the temperature in the space become too high, the built-in overheat protection with shut the PTC heaters off.
