    Repeated fan failure

We use this primarily for a wet basement. During the first year it worked quite well until there was an issue with the fan blade becoming unmounted from the motor causing it to no longer rotate the one to one ratio with the motor rpm it eventually slip off the mountain point altogether resulting in an eccentric wobble The damage the fan blade you created a running noise that was what alerted us to the problem. The company responded and replaced the fan and motor as it was under the one-year warranty but for some reason were a little emphatic in reminding you that there was only a one year parts warranty during that replacement process which I felt to be a bit odd. Little did I know that one year later this exact same failure would occur with the replacement parts and I would be contacting them only to have them remind me that there was only a one-year warranty. I find it very suspicious that to motor and fan blade set ups would fail in the exact same mechanism in about the exact same time in terms of their overall use. This makes me highly suspicious that there is an overall design flaw with this product. The menu facture's response was to inform me that they would sell me a replacement motor and fan blade. Even replacing this is somewhat of a chore as it requires drilling out the pop rivets that in case the fan blade housing just to get at the fan and motor mounting brackets. I would recommend considering an alternative product given this, that or be prepared to fill…
