Thanks to Pioneer’s new Hyperformance technology that delivers heat even in subzero temperatures, this mini split heat pump system provides year-round comfort to spaces up to 550 square feet.

Once installed on a wall near a 230V power supply, this unit will provide a single zone with 12,000 BTUs of cooling or heating. And with the new ultra-efficient system, the Pioneer Hyperformance series will output nearly 4 watts of heat for every watt of energy used. 

Year-Round Performance

Using the Pioneer Hyperformance Series’ DC Inverter technology, this unit will operate in temperatures ranging from -22 to 115 degrees F, giving it one of the broadest operating ranges on the market. Pioneer has engineered this unit to perform throughout that range with a cooling efficiency rating of up to 23.5, according to the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER2), and a Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF) efficiency rating of 9.5. With both seasonal ratings, plus Energy-Star and Cold-Climate certifications, this unit works more efficiently and with better energy savings.

Multi-Use Modes

This unit has a substantial operating range and many modes for different seasons and situations, depending on your needs.

• SMART-AUTO Mode: This unit will do all the hard work once you turn on SMART-AUTO Mode and set your desired temperature. The mini split will maintain your ideal temperature using internal sensors, preset logic, and cycling between heating, cooling, fan only, and dehumidification. 

• Turbo Mode: This mode will maximize the unit’s output and reach your desired temperature quickly by running the fan at its highest speed. 

• Fan Mode: Choose from three fan speeds to get a circulating breeze of fresh air without heating or cooling.

• DRY Mode: A basic dehumidifier mode will pull excess humidity and moisture out of the air. 

Easy Set-Up

This Pioneer 12,000 BTU Hyperformance Series Mini Split was designed to be one of the most straightforward mini split units to install. 

Inside this package, you’ll receive everything needed for installation, including the indoor air handler and outdoor compressor unit, a 16-foot line set with signal cable and copper lines, the wall mounting and repair kit, an internet control module, and more.
