It uses 15% less energy to remove moisture than similar-sized dehumidifiers and is constructed with a more efficient refrigeration coil, compressor, and fan. The XT155H pre-cools the incoming air so it doesn't have to use as much energy to dehumidify air - allowing to run more efficiently than other models.

Remote Humidity Control Options
You must purchase a remote dehumidistat controller in order to operate this unit. Therma-Stor has a few options available. All of the control units below are wired directly to the Ultra-Aire unit using 24-volt pig tail wiring.
- Honeywell H46C 1166 Wall-Mounted Humidistat: The Honeywell H46C is a basic analog humidistat you can use to control humidity. It features a manual dial control you'll use to set your desired humidity.
- Ultra-Aire DEH 3000 Digital Controller: The DEH 3000 is an all-digital controller that allows you to monitor and control humidity, manage fresh air ventilation, and activate air filtration for the unit from your living space. Using this control gives you the option to run the fan continuously instead of only when the unit is in dehumidifying mode.
- Ultra-Aire DEH3000R Digital Controller: The DEH 3000R is similar to the DEH 3000, but it also features a remote sensor that can be placed up to 100 feet away from the controller. This sensor allows you to control and monitor humidity conditions in a separate area and keep the wall-mounted controller out of sight.
