Open-Box: Quest Dual 205 Overhead Dehumidifier

Achieve greater high-capacity moisture removal with the Quest Dual 205 Overhead Dehumidifier. This unit eliminates 205 pints of moisture at standard rating conditions (AHAM) from large manufacturing plants, warehouses, indoor growing facilities, and greenhouses.

With several ducting options and an onboard dehumidistat, the Quest 205 can help you quickly and efficiently produce desirable indoor growing conditions.

Onboard Dehumidistat

Monitoring your humidity levels can be cumbersome when growing is the priority. The Quest overhead dehumidifier can help remedy the effects of watering and feeding inside a grow room with the onboard dehumidistat.

Carefully designed to monitor your humidity levels indoors, the dehumidistat can be set to three presets – dry (20% - 30% RH), normal (50% RH) and humid (80% - 90% RH).

When your humidity levels rise above your pre-set, the dehumidifier will automatically start, running until the humidity levels drop 4% - 6% below your presets. Once this is achieved, the unit will automatically shut down.

Ducting Options

Ducting options are not a problem with the Quest 205. With dual exhausts, the dehumidifier can be fitted to suit your desired ducting needs for your grow room or greenhouse. Ducting options include:

• No Ducting (Recommended): No ducting allows for you to easily install your dehumidifier, set the desired preset, and allow it to perform as needed.
• Ducted Return & Supply: This set up allows for warm, humid air to be drawn through the inlet near the ceiling and return dry and warm air through the outlet exhausts.
• Remote Area & Ducted Supply: Draw hot, humid air from the same space as the dehumidifier, and duct dry, warmer air into the growing or greenhouse space. This option works well for placing the unit in another space such as crawlspaces.
• Remote Area & Ducted Return Only: This option allows the unit to draw in air from the humid room, process the air, and release the dry, warm air into the space the unit occupies.

Plug & Play and Overhead Installation

The Quest 205 can easily be installed on the ground or floor without intricate wiring and ducting installation. Additionally, the overhead dehumidifier also works well installed above the grow space, as this allows the unit to draw in and capture moisture and heat at the ceiling. Simply install the unit with Quest Hanging Brackets and chains for overhead mounting.

When installing on the ground level, allow for 2.5” clearance between the bottom of the unit and the ground for gravity draining of condensate.

Additional Features

• Dual Ducts: Dual ducts make it more efficient to draw in more moisture-ridden air.
• Fan Only Runs Whens Dehumidifying: The fan only runs when the compressor is running and the unit is dehumidifying.  
• Daisy Chain Option: Wire up to six of these models together for use in large warehouse spaces. All six will be running off the same sensor on the Quest DEH 3000 R, so all models must be in the same room. 
• MERV 11: Uses a standard MERV 11 filter.
• Gravity Drain: Can be drained via gravity drain to an outside source or acceptable indoor drain.
• Operation Temperature: Operates in temperatures between 56 – 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Auto Restart: During a power outage, the unit will automatically resume operation.
• Low Voltage Terminal: For easier wiring to an external control, the Quest dehumidifier comes with a low voltage terminal block.
