This MERV 8 and carbon filter is designed for the HERO HS300 whole-house filtration system. Blending both types of filters into one captures up to 90 percent of particles in the air, ranging from 3 to 10 microns in size, such as dust, pet dander, dust mites, pollen, and lint. Depending on usage, replacing the filter every 3-6 months is recommended.
