Description
This Fantech RSK12 12-Inch Duct Backdraft Damper for circular ducts is manufactured from galvanized sheet metal. Backdraft dampers (also known as gravity dampers) are used in exhaust and intake HVAC systems to allow airflow in one direction while preventing reverse flow. Every Fantech Backdraft Damper is designed for maximum performance.

Key Features
- Multiple Positioning Options: Horizontal mount or vertical mount—your choice.
- Stronger Than Aluminum: Damper blades formed from aluminum H14 is twenty percent stronger than 1100 series aluminum.
- Coated with Zinc: The 24 GA, G90 galvanized steel casing is coated with a thin layer of zinc, which protects the steel beneath it from rust.
- Blade Design: Has two stainless steel torsion spring loaded blades.
- Built to Last: Features a 3/32" diameter brass central rod and EPBM synthetic rubber gasket.
