Description

This Fantech RSK5 5-Inch Duct Backdraft Damper for circular ducts is manufactured from galvanized sheet metal. Every Fantech Backdraft Damper is built with performance in mind. Backdraft dampers (also called gravity dampers) allow airflow in one direction and prevent reverse airflow for use in exhaust or intake HVAC systems.

24 GA, G90 galvanized steel casing: Galvanized steel is coated with a thin layer of zinc. The zinc coating protects the steel beneath it from rust.
Damper blades formed from aluminum H14: 20% stronger than 1100 series aluminum.
Spring Loaded Blades: The two blades are spring-loaded.
Central Rod: Designed with a 3/32" diameter brass central rod.
Durable Design: Features a stainless steel torsion spring and EPBM synthetic rubber gasket.
