Description
The Fantech WC15 Vari-Speed Control is designed for use with residential ventilation fans. It features variable control with an on/off switch and a brushed aluminum switch plate with mounting hardware.
Designed to operate from 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz, this controller has a maximum rating of 5 Amps. It is equipped with an RFI (radio frequency interference) filter, minimum speed trimpot, and can be mounted on a 2 x 4-inch electrical wall box. Leads are approximately 6 inches long and stripped 1/2-inch.

Although aesthetically pleasing, it's not ideal for consumer use because when you turn it on, it's on the full tilt setting - if you want to use the low setting, you'll need to turn the knob all the way. This is opposite to almost every consumer grade potentiometer that I'm aware of. Otherwise, it's built well and easy to install.
