This Friedrich 10,000 BTU ZoneAire Premier PTAC w/ Electric Heat is ideal for hotel rooms and dorms up to 400 square feet. It’s built to take on any season with a 3.6kW heater, 10,000 BTU cooling, and multiple fan intensities that can reach an airflow of up to 330 CFM.
- Maintenance-Friendly Design: It features a modular design that provides easy access to components for cleaning or repairs.
- Digital Controls: View and adjust the temperature, mode (cooling, heating, or fan-only), and fan speed (low, medium, and high) with easy-to-use digital controls.
- Dehumidifier: It removes up to 2.11 pints of excess moisture every hour.

- 230-208V: Ideal for spaces up to 400 square feet or less and features a 12.5 EER. (PDE09K3SGR3)
- 265V: For more powerful heating and cooling, this unit features a 12.5 EER for spaces up to 400 square feet. (PDE09R3SGR3)

This PTAC was designed with durability and long-term efficiency in mind.
- Improved Air Distribution: The tangential blower wheel has almost five times the surface area of a typical PTAC fan and creates even air distribution.
- Stainless Steel Durability: The Friedrich PTAC uses stainless steel parts and a powder-coated finish to avoid rust and corrosion.
- Temperature Monitoring: Features a built-in thermostat that monitors the temperature every nine minutes to maintain desired temperatures.
Quiet and Environmentally Friendly Operation
The Friedrich 9,000 BTU PTAC unit was built for comfort and peace of mind throughout the day.
- Quiet Operation: Two permanently lubricated fans and sound-reducing insulation keep noise levels low. Thick steel inner walls and foam further decrease energy loss and noise levels.
- Two-Motor Design: Features one indoor and one outdoor motor. This permits the indoor motor to run slower, reducing indoor sound levels without giving up heating or cooling power
- Eco-Friendly Refrigerant: The R-32 refrigerant possesses low global warming potential.
- Desk Control-Ready: Connect to a hotel's energy management system to enable remote staff control. This provides control of the unit's energy usage, earning it a 12.5 EER, and saving money.
Additional Features
- Adjustable Louvers: Use the louvers to adjust the direction of air.
- Cleanable Air Filter: It features a permanent air filter that can be easily cleaned with a vacuum dust attachment or with warm water and mild dish detergent.
- Fresh Air Outlet: Adjust this outlet to allow fresh and filtered outdoor air inside.
- Room Freeze Protection: initiates heat if the temperature falls to 40 degrees F in an unoccupied room.
Universal Heater Cord
Friedrich PTACs offer a universal heater cord to increase heat output when it replaces the standard power cord. This Friedrich PTAC comes standard with a 20-amp, 3 kW heater cord. Purchase the 30-amp, 5 kW cord to increase its heating power.
Note: For new installations, a standard Friedrich grille and wall sleeve should be purchased separately.
