I've had the unit installed for 17 days and this is what the condenser coils have significant signs of corrosion present on them. The paint is flaking off of the outside casing and there are signs of corrosion starting to appear through the paint. Previously had a unit from one of the big box stores installed, upgraded to this expecting a better product than what I previously had. Not impressed. I was told these were top of the line units, but it seems that Isn't the case.

This was a great product! I bought two for two different areas in my house, fits well. Perfect, quiet, and dispenses air at good rate. I would recommend buying this product -- just a lil heavy to get it up the stairs! ;-)

Excellent cooling for a lofted bedroom that is STIFLING HOT anytime the temp is over 74F outside. Can be a little louder than other units, though is a big plus for sleeper that appreciates white noise. Blue panel lights are a little bright at night; may need to cover. (We can't use sleep function to dim because room becomes too warm.) When temp hit 96F outside, room stayed cool and comfortable set at 74. With room door open, helps entire house stay cooler, too.
