Hessaire MC37M/37V/M150 Water Pump

I would make a 5 star review for the product, so far. However, the design has changed or the pump was substituted by another brand / model. Wouldn't be a problem with me either, but the intake was in the course moved to the side of the housing. This means, that the pump will run dry if the water level isn't watched closely. I haven't heard of a pump that would survive a, perhaps 12 hr run in the dry. The previous design was with the intake to the bottom, whereas the tank is designed to keep enough water at the bottom to keep the pump wet. My guess, calcium deposits to the bottom, most likely not seen, could cause a performance decrease.
